Splinterlands Journeys: Newbie Padawan challenging Mitica the Headhunter

I joined Splinterlands last week and still have no clue about how to become better and increase my win ratio.

Seen the Mitica the Headhunter Weekly Challenge and had a look. This UNTAMED RARE card is a Troll Headhunter and I like trolls. His element is earth and his abilities are cool. The thing is that I am an young padawan in Splinterlands and this card is to expensive to buy it and also uses 8 points when selected in the lineup. It took only two rounds to be complete obliterates by this guy, without even taking down one of his minions.

Was a low mana game and my cards couldn't compete. Even if I had Mitica the Headhunter, wasn't enough points to chose a tank in front.
