Streets of Africa - Part 4

"He who fights and runs, lives to fight another day"... Or "He who gropes and runs lives to...grope another day, I guess? I ran to the toilet immediately cause I thought well, once they ring the closing bell I'd carry my bags and **zap outta there.** It felt like hours in there, I was tempted to grab the bell and ring it myself, but that would out of the frying pan and right into hell, I guess. Finally the g*ddamn guy rang the bell and I rushed to the class, all for me to see someone pointing and saying, "Uncle see him there." First off, it's very scary to enter a classroom and gear that sort of thing. You'll be all, "tf?" The two boys were smiling cunningly while the teacher was coming closer, testing the flexibility of his cane. Please let's ignore the fact that they flogged students in African schools. That one is another story. Of all the Legislatures and Parlianenysband Congresses in the world, no one, absolutely no one though of creating a section called the **Brocode** and making guys snitching on other guys punishable by death? Really? Well this is really a wicked world. So the two guys were talking about it and I guess Leonardo told DiCaprio and he told J.Lo and whatever but the news got to the Teacher's ears. I was brutalized. I mean, if you listened very closely, you'd have heard "Finish Him" right before the flogging and "Brutality" right after. The girl who I...groped just stood in a corner with a sad face. I really can't tell whether she was sad because she was groped or because I got caught. Because like I've been implying, there's a possibility she was enjoying herself. I am after all, the ladies man (psych.) And although the news didn't go around the whole school (strange thing that no one told my snitch b!tch sister tho), I was very unlucky that this day was a Friday. Why? Back then, every Friday, the teachers wrote a general a count of how the week went for every student in a book called the 'Communication Book'. That was just a big book for Snitches. Snitches 101. The snitch guide to corporate snitching. How to snitch people. Snitching for idiots. Call it whatevr you wanted, but that was the way teachers ratted us out to our parents. Because your parents had to sign and then you'd return the book on Monday, straight with their comments and signature on that page. I was definitely doomed at this moment. It was an awkward ride on the school bus back home. Did I mention the girl followed the same bus route as I did? Oh yeah, and we sat side by side. I probably looked like sh!t there, but hey, what can a guy do? As I got home, I opened that week's communication book report and sure enough, the account was there, well detailed. It was almost as if the teacher was in me when I did all those things. Hey, now that I think about it,I should have filed a defence stating that I had been possessed by the teacher while doing those things. I mean, the report was that vivid. Fast forward to Sunday Night. My siblings were submitting their books and I was asked for mine. The lie rolled out at the speed of light. "Our teacher forgot to give us on Friday." No one even bat an eyelid. Everyone was tired. As they all went to sleep, I picked up all my father's diaries and documents where he had written something and performed the most criminal act I had ever done up till that point. I forget his comment, and his signature. It's Grand Theft Auto Szn, yo!
