Query

As he stopped by the fast food restaurant on his way home, he decided that he really needed some homemade cooking. Unfortunately, he was living on his own, and did not cook, that wasn’t possible. “One day, you’d wish you learned how to cook,” his mother always said when he left his sisters to cook while he played games with his friends. Now he realized that she wasn’t lying. It wasn’t the time to dwell on his mistakes, as he hurried to finish the burger and drink so that he could catch up with the train. If he missed it that would mean that he would get caught in the rain that was going to all soon. In that case, he couldn’t possibly say (cps) when he was eventually going to reach home. He was terribly unmotivated to rush though. The events of that day continued to bother him, no matter how he tried to forget about it. His Boss had been upset with him for laughing out loud during a presentation to an important client, but whose fault was it that Boss played a video of him dancing to Taylor Swift instead of the slideshow presentation? Even some of the other people present at the presentation had laughed, or at least stifled their laughter. However, only he really laughed out loud, and even when others joined him, when the laughter subsided, the Boss’ angry look made the whole atmosphere awkward. He would he expecting a query on Monday, but he had a concert to attend tonight. Motivated to have a once-in-a-week release, he finished his drank and dashed into the street. ************************* This is a freewrite. Prompts: Cooking, CPS, Laughing Out Loud.
