I guess most of you are familiar with Placebo Effect, Your optimistic mindset could ease your severe condition. But do you know the opposite of it? The Nocebo Effect.. in where your pessimistic mindset can worsen your illness. I somehow relate this Nocebo effect to the current issue right now about the scary side effects of the vaccines circulating in social media. Let's take for example: This is John, he's afraid to get vaccinated because of the rumors he saw on social media but his work requires him to get vaccinated. Though afraid he doesn't have a choice but to take the dose, what will happen to him after vaccination with such negativity on his mind??
