6 tablespoons of honey
First, rinse the apples with plenty of water. Then cut it in half and remove the seeds.
Chop the apples into small pieces. Add the chopped apples into the pre-cleaned large glass jars.
Add drinking water to the jars, leaving some space.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey into each jar and mix with a wooden spoon.
Cover the jars with a clean cotton cheesecloth. Make sure it is fixed by putting rubber on the edges.
Keep the jars you prepared in a dark and sunless environment for approximately 45 days (1 and a half months).
Mix your vinegar with a wooden spoon every other day in the first week and once a week in the following days.
Mix it intermittently until all of the apples have settled to the bottom.
As time progresses, you will see that the apple slices that rise to the top rot and flies form around the vinegar.
When these symptoms appear, the vinegar has begun to ferment. In this case, filter the vinegar and discard the apple pulp.
Put the filtered vinegar back into the glass jar and add the salt and the remaining honey on it. After mixing with a wooden spoon, close the lid and store in a cool place.
A white circle will form on the vinegar. This is called the mother of vinegar. Take the mother of vinegar into another bowl with a wooden spoon and strain the vinegar again.
You can start using your vinegar by pouring it into jars.
