7. Where to go in Yemen - the island of Socotra

The island of Socotra is one of the rare places on Earth. Socotra has become a kind of Noah's Ark for many members of the flora and fauna nature reserve for those species that were doomed to extinction. In the east and in the center of the island are dominated by mountain valleys, which are green oases. Steep slopes hang directly over the plain coast or over the ocean.

Attention is drawn to very unusual plants, such as the "desert rose", which is gigantic in size, but strewn with delicate bright pink flowers, a unique dragon tree and more. Birds that are nowhere else on Earth: for example, the long-tailed starling or Socotra nectar, sperm whales and other unique animals.

In short, there will be someone to admire and why! To get to Socotra, you need to fly to the capital of Yemen by local airline. In the city you can stay in a hotel or rent camping equipment.

8. What to visit in Portugal - the Douro River in Porto

One of the most picturesque places in Portugal is the valley of the Douro River, which is 200 km long. These are beautiful terraces of the slopes, river cities, beautiful forest landscapes, vineyards, as well as ancient monasteries and castles.

With the exception of grape growing and wine production, the Douro region is recognized as one of the most beautiful in the world. Porto is its main city and one of the oldest European settlements. You can explore the magnificent river valley by ferry or train, departing from Porto.

It is worth noting that the railway runs along the Douro River, so from the window you can see the beautiful views of the area, as well as vineyards. By the way, agritourism is very popular in the valley, so if you want you can settle in the vineyard, as in a hotel, and even take part in the harvest.

9. Where to go in Thailand - North of Thailand

Less touristy, but no less interesting is the north of Thailand with the capital Chiang Mai. With its clean mountain air, beautiful nature, beautiful waterfalls, temples and thermal springs.

Attractions include the Doi Tung Royal Villa and Mae Fa Flower Garden, Chiang Tao Caves, the White Temple and Zoo in Chiang Mai. Queen Sirikit's Botanical Garden, located in the mountains, and the orchid farm next to the garden, and many other interesting places.

It is recommended to travel by car, as the roads in northern Thailand are good and with excellent markings, so you can see many more beautiful places. But there is also the opportunity to travel by public transport.

10. Unusual places to travel - Space flights

The most unusual place to travel is space! This is a type of tourism, when a person is given the opportunity to go into orbit and into space.

This exciting adventure is still available only to rich people, who, of course, allows health. The cost of a ticket for one flight is hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the preparation takes a long time.

Currently, space tourism is a growing industry, and tour operators working with space are still units.

In the future, this industry may include the placement of hotels in Earth orbit, flights to the moon and space travel in a spacesuit.
