Dreams: an unexplained phenomenon

Dreams are a series of thoughts, images and sensations occurring in person's mind during sleep. As simple as this definition is, the concept of dreams can't be explained. How a person would sleep and thoughts and images would start occurring in his mind while he is totally unaware of what's going on around him is really fascinating. Dreams can be scary, beautiful, funny and confusing at the same time. Nightmares which are frightening dreams can be triggered by your greatest fears or horror movies you watched or something unexplainable like demonic manifestations which is something you need to be careful about. Dreams can be really confusing in the sense that you can see two different things in one dream for example you can see friends from secondary school and from college in thesame dream or you can find yourself in a place you've never been before. I think there is a purpose for every dream because some dreams are revelations concerning things what will happen in the future while some are warnings. I also know that dreams have a big connection with reality because most things that happen in dreams end up happening in reality. Some dreams can be really poetic because they are not what they appear to be, most of them have hidden meanings while in some, things or symbols can be used to represent other things. For example, Joseph in the Bible who saw a sun and moon and eleven stars bowing down to him. The sun and moon represented his parents while the eleven stars represented his eleven brothers. So as you can see, the dream wasn't literal and this is how most of our dreams usually are. Dreams are really wonderful because they can show you what's going to happen either in the nearest or farthest future and I'm happy that God designed it that way. Some dreams are more like encounters that manifest in reality because some people have testified about how God delivered them from an illness in a dream and in reality, they got healed. A woman in my church once testified that in her dream, God used the face of my pastor to give her a phone number and when she woke up, she dailed the number and it turned out to be the number of the governor of a state in my country. The man was shocked and asked her how she got it and she told him how she did and he gave her the money she needed to pay her child's school fees so dreams are really nice and wonderful and they should totally be taken seriously. Also, whatever wonderful dream you had which looks impossible to ever come true will definitely come true. All you have to do is hope and have faith in God and since He has giving you those dreams, He will definitely actualize it. Thanks for reading.
