Community Service

I would like to share my memories of community service.

I am a proud member of TAU GAMMA PHI .

My organization conduct a relief operation at 2 schools converted to be a evacuation center in Sto. Thomas Batangas that is affected by the Eruption of Taal volcano that cause different cities covered by ash fall.

We started to repack canned goods, clothes and blankets 4pm in the afternoon july 15, 2020 and start to prepare the ingredients for pouridge soup or called Lugaw ,

at exactly 8:30pm we started to cook a 2 Large pot.

We finished cooking 3 am in the morning of july 16, 2020 . and we depart at exactly 5:am in the morning.

We arrived thier at exaclty 6:00am in the morning , many of the families at the Evacuation center are still sleeping.

So we have time to prepare and unload the foods and the clothes. And start giving them at 7 am.

and we left the first evacuation at 9 am and proceed to the next one, The weather is too hot but and the sweats are comming out we started to feel tired, sleepy and hungry but when we saw those faces and smiles of the people there it's like relieving thos feelings that we felt.

This operation of our organization are not sponsored this is voluntary and comes from the botton of our hearts❤

I hope by this kind of simple operation we help those people to who badly affected by the Eruption of taal.

Many said that fraternity is a bad influence. But as i joined i become more disciplined learn to communicate and help our community voluntarily,

I encourage every one to help our community by the way they can afford, it's not important if it is big or small as long as you help that comes from your heart thats enough
