First day at Hospital as an Internee

Monday, 20 March 2023. My first day as an internee in Medical Emergency Ward went quite hectic and kind of refreshing as well. I was so excited. I bought my scrub, a new pair of joggers and some other things which were essential for me to wear at my job. There were soo many patients which we had to attend on our first day. I was kind of perplexed sometimes but overall maybe it went well. The most embarrassing thing I did today was that the senior doctor asked me to hand him over a blank prescription page which I misunderstood due to my clumsiness and gave him some random patient's prescription page. He was kind of disappointed and he tried to suppress his grin but I noticed and it made me feel so embarrassed. I saw many patients wailing with pain and crying for help. I was being so gentle with patients, but my friend told me to be firm in my behaviour. Maybe I'll improve with time.

I want to help people heal of all their miseries that's why I chose medical field. I'll try to give my best and serve humanity as much as possible.
