"When the human being understands that he is ONE with God, he stops begging in his prayers" When I first read this thought of the illustrious Ralph Waldo Emerson, I had the urge to read the entire essay entitled "Self Confidence" There I was able to understand that if we are going through an adverse circumstance... if the Creator has allowed such a circumstance, it is because we have the ability to overcome it and be victorious in such an event. From childhood, we are taught that, in our prayers, we must feel small and show a great need because we are "sinners" and we do not deserve to be in his presence because we are unworthy. And when we turn to Him, we come with requests (asking) for as many things as necessary, and many times, knowing that we will never get them. When I read this essay, written in the year 1841, I understood that each of us was created perfect and we have been endowed with all the necessary tools to be successful in any area of ​​our life. To be successful is to develop and reach our maximum potential and be happy fulfilling our purpose on this earth. From that moment on, I stopped asking in my prayers, I stopped begging for something that by heavenly inheritance was already granted to me, because every blessing is included in the baggage when deciding when to begin our human experience. Since then I have tried to know myself and face the challenges because through them, I discover the potential that is latent within me, and with which, I can fully fulfill my purpose. I stopped being a beggar to become what I really am: A spiritual being of the same essence as my Creator, that is, a child of God, with infinite power.
