What A Moment.

What a moment this is for Chelsea fans worldwide. They have waited all season for this moment, for this rush of adrenaline. This is what they say sometimes that the end justifies the means and who would remember the earlier struggle of Chelsea in the league? This win overshadows everything and the decision to sack Frank Lampard and bring in Thomas Tuchel has been justified.

Abrahimovic is ruthless when it comes to replacing managers and he has done it to great effect when he sacks one and the other one wins something significant. It started from the days of Roberto Di Matteo. Winning the Champions League would ease up Thomas Tuchel and would make him get the necessary backing in the transfer market.

He knows how to play his tactics. He knows how to nullify his opponents and restrict them. He knows how to defend resolutely and get the needed goal. That was the same tactics Leicester City used on him and he lost. Guardiola should have known better for the third time now. Guardiola used no holding midfielder, he dropped two of his starters that could have given him the stability he needed to avoid Ngolo Kante from running the show. How Guardiola failed to see this and he got beaten for the third time by the same Chelsea team is another topic for discussion.

There is no taking away from the wonderful works that Chelsea did on the night. Chelsea deserved the win and there should be ni doubt about that. A lot has been said about the tactical mistakes that the overthinking Guardiola made but that's what finals are for - you exploit the mistakes of your opponents and then magnify them by punishing them for it which Chelsea did.

It was a moment to savour for all Chelsea fans and what a way to end the turbulent season that saw them struggle under Frank Lampard and then get a new manager on board. They didn't miss out on the Champions League spot and even if they did, this win would have been their automatic ticket to claiming that spot back.

The only goal of the game through Havertz. He was picked out by Mason Mount as he worked his magic to find him from few yards out. It was that moment of magic that knocked City out of the game. City had no response to it. They searched the whole game for answers but Chelsea held on resolutely.

Everyone played their part in this victory just as everyone should be held responsible too for the loss in the City camp. They came so close but didn't have the mettle to sustain and go on to win it. Chelsea played their game to perfection and it worked to great effect for them. They are the champions of Europe.

Congratulations to Chelsea FC.

Thank you so much. Yes, my first and trying to learn as fast as I can too. I expected Chelsea fans to celebrate wildly as usual and I was more sad when United lost their match against Villareal. I couldn't even bring myself to write a review about it. 😟
