I've taken it upon myself to share more of my works now and I am working on converting a lot of them into books. It's a work in the pipeline... I still have time to work on so many more. **Alone.** *I was alone in my space and needed a lifting* *I stared at the glass of milk without any sipping* *Alone and lost in thoughts; caught up in my thinking* *Then your voice came on, and it brought me back around* *That voice gave me a soothing relief and it was like music* *My whole being came alive and I longed to hear it even more* *It was sweeter than the sound of a nightingale* *Let your voice ring my darling, my whole being longed for it* *Let your voice ring and ease me of my worries and cares* *Let the sound of your voice be a pleasant song to my ears* *Let the melody that comes from those sweet scaled lips* *Be the escape I have always needed from the worries and thoughts* *Let your voice ring, my darling, because of the joy it gives* *My heart leapt for joy at the sound of your sweet voice* *My ears and eyes followed suit; hoping to hear more and catch a glimpse* *Your voice is music to my ears, my darling, let your voice ring more and louder* **Just How?** *How did we get to this point as a nation?* *We seem to be moving but we are at one station* *Everyone seems to be really dry, with no lotion* *All we keep doing is making noise with no motion* *The rights of everyone is being cut down; no portion* *They keep taking lives and it seems without any caution* *They keep the big chunk and still fight people for their ration* *How did we get to this point, even as humans?* *We have allowed greed to cut deep into our heart* *You hardly find people who are selfless on this earth* *How did we allow things to get this bad, as humans?* *How did we forget to be our brother’s keepers?* *Why did we focus on the greater goods for private gains?* *We seem so self-focused that we have forgotten other’s pains* *We need to do better as humans, so we can reflect that light* *Only when we become better as humans can we give insight* *To how we need to turn our nation aright with a better mindset* **A Dark World.** *The world is full of darkness; that we know* *We need to be the light to show the way* *While the sun shines, we need to make hay* *Whatever we do in life, we will definitely pay* *This is why we need to shine the light for others* *Let your light shine so bright for people around* *Those who shine their lights can’t keep it away* *From themselves; so you are doing yourself a favour too* *Shine your light to give others a new lease of life* *Many people have been used to the wrong ways of things* *Your light can bring a better view on how things could be done* *Shine your light, shine it so bright that greed will disappear* *Let your light shine so bright that hatred would be relegated* *Let it shine, let your light shine, so that love can win* *We have had enough bloodshed, greed and oppression* *Shine your light so others can look within and shine theirs too* **Hard To Know.** *It is hard to know what is buried on the inside* *They might wish you evil and still lay by your side* *They are nice but deep within they want woe to betide you* *Not all that glitters is gold, they have come to say* *Deliver us from evil; we all need to constantly pray* *Deceptive look, regardless of the time of the day* *Study every man’s content first, and then keep them at bay* *Their words are as slick as oil, but those words cut like a knife* *They can come as a husband or even as a wife* *That is what we have come to see in this life* *Not everything is as they first appear to be* *They might be smiling with you but their heart isn’t* *They might tell you what to do but then ruin it after* *A lot of acts can be found with different humans* *A lot to see in everyone even with the changing faces* *Study every man’s content before feeding it to your soul* *Thank you for your time.* *My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks.
