Make It Count.

Strike when the iron is hot. Make hay while the sun shines. Make an impact when you still can. Don't wait until the time is gone or strength is gone. You won't always be strong and have time, opportunities slip by...while you still have them, allow God to use them. If you wait for the perfect condition, you can never get anything done.

We have those who stepped out of oblivion into the limelight even in the Bible. It's an indication that God can give Grace to the simple or those others have written off. Stop concluding on people's lives when God isn't done with them yet. In due season, God always lifts His people.

David is a good example...even Abraham is a good example of those God brought into the limelight. God's ideal time to use anyone is when they are still young...when they still have strength but, of course, God can renew our strength like that of the eagle and use anyone for His use. The Bible said Moses was 120 years and his eyes didn't grow dim nor did his strength fail.

We need to remember what God has told us before now. Go back to what God had told you before now. There is still time for you to do what God had told you. God can restore the years as He did with Abraham.

Act on the passion and the fire that God has put in your heart. Have an appetite for God's will and purpose in your life. You will meet roadblocks; those that would want to dissuade you from what you are expected to do. They are not necessarily your enemies but the devil sometimes uses those who are close to you, those whose opinion matters to you, just to throw you off balance. They might have good intentions but they are just unintentionally misleading you but you have to always remember what God told you.

I am sure we are familiar with the prophet in the Bible that God told not to eat or drink in a particular town and another prophet convinced him to, saying he heard from God for him to do so. The same prophet later condemned him when he was killed as he was narrating to people what became of him. You can find the reference to this in 1 Kings 13.

Don't let people manipulate you out of God's will for your life. They can use their office, their looks, their influence, their words...anything... Don't allow them. Remember what God tells you and this is why it's important for you to have a relationship with God and not rely on what other people say or what a prophet says. Those people you try to please are the ones that would still point fingers at you for not doing what's right since you already know it.

Always remember God as your source. It's not a title you need but an impact. Those titles would put unnecessary pressure on you and even distract you. Seek to follow the ways of God. Never forget what God tells you, even His promises. The best time to always act on God's instruction is NOW. Now is the best time as ever. We might have missed a step or gone against it but with God, the time to always go back is NOW. The prodigal son knew this and he went back to his father at once...without delay. We need to always act with urgency to make the most of our walk with God.

We have been told that the King's business requires haste. God wants to know that you can be trusted too. As much as we want to trust God, God also wants to trust us with assignments and acting at the right time too. I was so happy when I acted with urgency regarding a friend of mine. We were both in service that day and I don't like using my phone inside Church. That day, I got the urge to text her and tell her that I would love to buy her lunch. That text that I sent to her was the answer she was waiting for to know that God cares.

She told me that she was doubting if God cares for her again and all she wanted was any sign from God that He still cares. She just finished praying that prayer when my text entered her phone and that was all she needed. The little things we have the urge to do for others, we don't understand how massive it might be to them. It's always good to act with swiftness when we have that burning desire to do something. It might even be something regarding our own life, we need to act fast, make things count, and do things we are expected to do because we don't know where it might lead.
