Is there a time when you did something out of fear? During lunch, you see your friend being bullied in the canteen. You want to help, but you fear that it will hurt and hurt you. You don't want to flirt with the woman you love because you're afraid they won't take revenge on you. In our lives, we have had many experiences of being frustrated, so we didn't get what we wanted or the right thing to do. How many opportunities do we miss to let our fears and fears prevail?
Even though we know we need to be brave, we have reasons to fear and be discouraged.
One reason is our fear of failure, at competitions or school, it is common to be afraid of losing. We all have a fear that something will not work for us. This is why sometimes we become cowards. Instead of trying to achieve what we were going to do, sometimes we choose to play it safe and stop trying. Thus, the possibility of failure is excluded. Another reason is the fear of being hurt or doomed. There are times when we need to act like a human being to others, but we forget to do the right thing because our fear of death prevails. The last reason is that we don't usually want to leave our comfort zone. Every day we have a routine or routine that we follow. This trend brings us comfort and safety. We do not want to ruin our daily routine because we are in fear of change. We are afraid of something we do not know.
Cowardice is a big problem in our society. It has many side effects. When a person is cowardly, he will not be able to study or demonstrate his ideas or abilities. A person who does not have the courage to take risks can do nothing for himself, others and society. Had it not been for the courage of Henry C. and John Goknevier Jr., they would not have been able to manage their business and employ thousands of Filipino workers. Courage forced Jose Rijal to oppose the Spanish. Encourages couples to share their views of the world. If there were many brave citizens, there would be no corruption in the government. If there was injustice among many people to speak out against injustice and corruption, the number of poor and oppressed people in our society would be less.
I rebel against the two characters in “Florente and Laura” who have gone against rebellious cowardice, yet, despite our rebellions being different, we can see the importance of being courageous. The revolt of Duke Brizio was against the evil presented by Count Adolfo. Throughout the story, we see the evil of Count Adolfo, ever since he wanted to steal the crown until he killed people who wanted to fight for good like Duke Brescio. Like Duke Brizio, Florent also fights Count Adolfo and his evil. The revolt of Florent and his father, Duke Brizio, was against Count Adolfo and his misdeeds.
Although our revolts are not the same as they fight for good and justice while I fight for courage and bravery, you can also see courage in the revolts of Duke Brizio and Florent against Count Adolfo. Even when Count Adolfo killed such people, courage took Duke Brizio and Florent to fight for good. Mercy and justice can be seen in my rebellion, because often the purpose of being courageous is to live for good and justice.
Using the example of Florante and Duke Briseo, we see the result of courage. Being brave is a long and difficult journey and process. However, in my opinion, there are ways in which the government can encourage the courage of the people. One way is to create a law or program that offers rewards and protection to whistleblowers or those who report acts of corruption. Citizens are encouraged to report abuse and misconduct and to combat it. Over time, those who commit corruption will also be reduced. Another proposal is that the government provide tax incentives to people who start new businesses and provide employment for workers. In this way, citizens are encouraged to work hard to realize their ideas and to use their skills to help society. In our personal life, let's try to overcome our fears and anxieties and get involved in being a man for others. Let's challenge ourselves and use the skills that God has blessed us to make a significant difference and contribute to ourselves, our neighbors, and our society.
I know that everything I say can be said and heard quickly, but it is difficult to do. As in many other things, every day, gradually, in small steps, changes occur.
