Tether ($USDT) finally settles 1 TRILLION dollars lawsuit. In conjunction with Bitfinex (the exchange) they were accused of market manipulation and price inflation creating serious financial damage to the 5 traders that said they bought inflated cryptocurrencies and then lost money. Tether was accused of printing USDT without a proper backing asset, and with that currency Bitfinex bought cryptocurrencies making the prices skyrocket. Court didn't rule in favour of the traders, so they're off the hook. the fact that they couldn't prove damage doesn't mean it's not true, in my opinion.
