Morning everyone! I always show you my fishing spots; but rarely I show you the catch š (usually because I mostly do catch and release). This opportunity we were really craving for some fried fish, so I didn't return them to the water. These are all variety of catfish, you got the "Amarillo" (yellow); "Moncholo" (it's the silver small one although it's a local word so I don't think there's translation) and "Pati" (Also a local slang so I don't think there's translation). Does the wound heals when you release after you caught them?
Actually yes! These fishes as you may watch in the picture have very strong bone heads and jaws. So the hook i use it's meant to go in but not hurt them real bad. They can usually go back and do their normal fish stuff. Not these ones tho, these are serving the purpose of feeding us today!
Ohhh. I see. That's so nice. That's why I remember when I was a kid back then, we used to go fishing in the pond in province. When the fish is too young they release it and let it swim again. Hehe. Yeah seems they're ready to be serve š

Yup, my uncle says they were too young and small, so they have to release them. Haha what's that "thank you" for?
Because with that little action when you were young you helped the nature grow. And by association you gave me the chance of capturing fishes. If we don't sustain, our kids and grankinds won't have the chance of catching these species. Even with that action that seems so normal or small, you were giving a huge aid to nature.
