Instead of a blanket ban , the government ought to consider joining the other dynamic market who opted for the regulatory approach to draw out a regulatory framework that would suit the new age. The ban was initially imposed to ensure that market participant are protected from the infarious activities . Simply lifting the ban also has its adverse effect . But the current lock of clarity when it come to cryptocurrency is already leaving participant exposed to risk in a policy vaccum. While business have the appetite to infuse the latest technology to their offerings due to customer demands ,without regulation they would rather error on the side of caution . Instead of confidently exprimenting and innovating . Negative impacts #Cryptocurrency are not hacked by the government which means cryptocurrency stored online does not have the same protection as money in bank account . If you store cryptocurrency in digital wallet provided by a company ,and the company goes out of business or hacked ,the government may not get be able to step in and help get your money back . The information can also include the sender and recipients wallet also . Both the transaction amount and wallet address could be usedvto identify who the actual people using it are . The government need to clarity and framework to operate when it comes to.adopting innovative technologies like cryptocurrency and blockchain . Its something about cryptocurrency and blockchain .
