It is not the responsibility of the guru to inculcate in the heart. It is the responsibility of the disciple to build. The Guru can show you the way. The guru can only tell the disciple which path is best for him, which path, how to walk so that he can see his desired object. But all subsequent responsibilities belong to the disciple. The disciple himself has to walk in the path shown by the guru, in the way directed by the guru. It is the responsibility of the disciple to cross the path correctly and achieve the desired object. The Guru always seeks the welfare of the disciple and shows the way to welfare.
