Ecosystem destruction

This generation may not even know it, but any older person remembers very well that up to about 20 years ago any car trip meant a dirty windshield covered with insects. Where are the bugs now? Scientists associate the dramatic decline of insect populations with agribusiness due to the destruction of natural habitats and pesticide application. The decline of insects, besides being a tragedy in itself, it has impact on food web, diet of birds, reptiles, small mammals, pollination is hampered. This may destroy biosphere.
