Time has given me, but it has also taken from me. It took away my trust in people and gave me the gift of understanding them. I know I have no right to judge anyone, but I have the right to walk away when my soul is hurt too often. I understood that being fair to you is not pride, but dignity. I understood that the miracle of happiness is limited by what we carry in our souls. I understand that those who lash out at you are actually venting their own frustrations. I understood that in these hard times, to keep our faith and warm soul, are the most precious things. I finally understood that although we are surrounded by people...not all of them are PEOPLE!
