A Poem by Chinese Poet Li Bai
I really like Chinese poet Li Bai and here is my translation of his poem "I Vist A Temple That is Empty" (*Fang Dai Tian Shan Dao Shi Bu Yu* in Chinese) I can hear distant barking when I cross the river Perfuming blossoms of peach flower gets thicker in the morn There is a deer at the end of the forest I can see The bell in the temple does not ring in the noon Wild bamboos carry the summer clouds Beautiful mountain wears a waterfall My friend lives in the temple is nowhere to be found Leaning on a pine tree, I miss him
