Because my parents worked in Manila then, so we were left with our grandparent in my father's province. I still remember to this day the life I lived with my grandparents, farming was their main source of income. We lived surrounded of different trees, like coffee, cotton, guava, mango, banana. Sometimes we run out of rice to cook at meal time, my grandfather would take a banana in the backyard to cook for our meal, even if the banana is still a bit raw, they boil it and that's what we eat, it's delicious when dipped in anchovies. Did you experience that too?

I myself was sent to stay with my gradparents during school break or semester end as both my parents worked and not to worry about me during the day time. When I was young, I didn't like it that much as nothing fancy me to eat and play and only a nature, rice field and farming. But later once got old, I reallised that those experiences of time with my grandparents helps me to strive to survive in any circumstances by live life with self sustainable way.
Huhuhu
