We often wear a smile to dress our bleeding heart Not that it cures the inner hemorrhage. We might be broken inside, torn apart Yet, we act the common script on stage Giving the impression we're are fly For friends, Family we laugh, dance and share jokes Then we withdraw into silence and cry We've learned to bear the pains of others For our burdens, we feel hung out to dry We pray feverishly for the needs of others But scarcely find words for ours For the broken we give our shoulders Then stay up with tears for sad sleepless hours Sometimes we wonder why others don't see The plea in our eyes and the hurt in our smiles If you've ever had this feelings like me Don't loose your smile on that, someone relies
