I was curious about a plant my mother planted and since I didn’t know or recognize the name of this plant so I used a google lens to find out what its name really was. I found out that the name of this plant is Taheebo and it is an herbal plant or can be used as a medicine for some diseases. Based on drugs.com, taheebo is known to actually be a medicinal plant and is better known by the scientific name “Bignoniaceae”. And Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This is still based on what was said on drugs.com that Taheebo has astringent, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, diuretic, anticoagulant, laxative, and anticancer properties, among others. Wow! Surprisingly I found this out! Even my mother didn’t know it either as long as she only knew that this plant’s flowers are beautiful.
