Shoebell Also known as the Whalehead or Shoe-billed Stork, this strange bird is named for the shoe-like shape of its humongous bill, which allow it to catch surprisingly large prey. They’re found in east Africa, primarily in large tropical swamps from Sudan south to Zambia. Seeing them in the wild is… well, wild, because they tend to stand silent and motionless for long periods of time. With a height of 43 to 55 inches and a wingspan up to 8 feet 6 inches, these funny looking birds are hard to miss. #info #EverythingsInfo
