Anahaw is a type of plant found in the mountains and forests. Its leaves are also used to make the roof of the house that was used in ancient times apart from nipa and sedge. Due to the current modern designs of houses such as galvanized it is often unnoticed. Galvanized roofs are more durable because they take several years to break down. Today, anahaw leaves are still used to make roofs for huts. Just like today, it's still nice to have a hut with anahaw roof because it's one of the best hangouts when hot weather.
