There are outside forces that are beyond your control. Those "forces" try to arrange your life for you. They may influence your external environment. "They" foolishly believe they have power and control. But they have no power and can not control your mind. Your free will is your own to exercise, no matter what situation in life you may find yourself in. You only live once? I agree. That's why I always said that if I were ever captured by an enemy and held hostage, there's no way I would read words from a paper that they told me to read. How do I know that they won't be my last words? Whatever the last words are that come out of my mouth, they're going to MY WORDS. Sorry. I sometimes think in terms of "extremes". I'm not always this serious. But your statements provoked some thoughts.
