@Natanson more from that month

At the exit from the airport, I stopped in surprise. There were an incredible number of Indians standing around the perimeter of the guardrail. A strike? Some kind of protest? It turned out that these were taxi drivers, who immediately began to invite us into the car. But we still took a pre-paid taxi at the airport, realizing that the taxi drivers will tell us the price 2 times higher than the usual fare. Our way lay to the Victoria Terminus railway station (in 1996, renamed, like the airport, in honor of the national Indian hero-Chhatrapati Shivaji), where we hoped to catch the night train to Goa, but were late. We didn't choose an airplane, because the air route is more expensive, besides we wanted to immediately taste the local flavor to the maximum. Goa can also be reached by a sleeper bus. This is an amazing and beautiful, in my opinion, form of transport. You spend 12 hours comfortably stretched out on the sleeping shelf with a pillow and blanket (I went from Goa to Hampi in this way and I want to tell you about it separately). By the way, it would be worth implementing the idea of this type of transport in Russia, with our distances between cities! ☀️... There will be a continuation... ☀️ #india
