Today I learned sad news from Goa. They closed the flea market in Anjuna, a cult place where, since the 1970s, hippie have been hanging out, who created their own unusual culture in Goa. And the cafe "Looda", where after visiting the flea market we listened to the best local music groups, will be bulldozed for the sake of building a hotel. When we came to Goa, we laughed that we live according to the local schedule: on Wednesdays there is a flea market in Anjuna, on Saturdays there is a night market in Arpora. And now this era is passing away. Simplicity and beauty are being replaced by a "decent civilized", but completely plastic world. Eternal memory, Anjuna flea market, eternal memory, cafe Looda... I am happy that I found you and got to know this wonderful kind world of big children. I remembered the lines from the song of Ermen (the Adaptation group from Kazakhstan): See how cities grow on the backs of fields And how the forest falls under the blows of terrible machines Everything that was native turns into ashes and smoke, Soon there will be nowhere to run and then maybe we will come back #originalcontent #photography #india #goa #life #travels
