Today is World Pet Day🐱🐕🐭🐰🐿️🐘🐨🐼🐒🐶🐩🐺🦊🦁🐯🐴🦓🐮🐫🐑🐿️🦔🐠🐳🐬🐟 As long as I can remember, animals have always lived at our home, dogs, fish, hamsters. Surprisingly, as a child, for some reason I didn't like cats, but I adored dogs. We had a wonderful lapdog Lyalka, an airedale terrier Bara, a German shepherd Alpha. And at the age of 16, I suddenly fell in love with cats once and for all😽❤️ One day Mom was coming home from work and a black cat followed her. They came home together and the cat stayed with us. I named her Alice, after my favorite rock band☺️ After Alice, I took a newborn kitten from parent cat, and named it Stirlitz. Stirlitz lived with us for 20 years, which translated into human age means 100 years. One day, when he turned 10, we lost him😢 I went to look for him on the street, I didn't find him, but I found another black cat that looked like Tikhon cat, which our neighbors lost. When the neighbors saw the find, they said it wasn't their cat. And that same evening I found our lost Stirlitz. He fell from the balcony (from the 5th floor), apparently chasing a bird. But, fortunately, he was unharmed🙏 I brought him home, and at home he was met by a "fake Tikhon". As a result, the owner of the cat was never found and the cat stayed with us. At first, the cats fought, or rather, Stirlitz fought with a new cat (we called him Polzun). Polzun was very peaceful and wanted to make friends with Stirlitz, tried to lick him, but Stirlitz hissed and growled at him and got into a fight. But over time, the cats became friends. In 2016, Stirlitz died on 20 years. We missed him very much, it was a long pain...
