The FBI has offered a $100,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of Ignatova, who in 2019 was charged with eight counts of electronic fraud and securities fraud. US authorities are seeking the arrest of Ignatova, for her alleged role in running a cryptocurrency scam known as OneCoin. Federal investigators have accused the runaway woman of using a scheme to get more than $4 billion from her victims, since 2014, when the scheme began offering buyers a commission if they sold Waynecoin to more people. Ignatova has been missing since 2017, when US officials signed an arrest warrant against her, and investigators are close to finding her. FBI agents say the coin was worthless, and was not protected by the "blockchain" technology used with other cryptocurrencies. According to allegations made by federal prosecutors, it was a fraud scheme under the guise of cryptocurrency.
