Painda ( Sobat )

Painda is a Pashto word (A language used in Pak and AFG) which means group of people sitting together . Not only because of its taste, the dish is also famous for the style in which it is served. Painda is served in a large dish usually known as a thaal. More interestingly, everyone eats from that same big dish. This shows the love and unity that is one of the characteristics of the Pakhtun culture. Painda Or Sobat is famous dish of Pashtuns. Mainly, it is famous in KPK,Pakistan. This dish has its own taste because of unity among people. In my village, people usually mix wheat bread into meat to make sobat. This is our way of eating because we are Pashtuns.
