List of Cryptocurrency Scam 1. Phishing sites - Impersonating a website like services, wallets, and exchanges. If you log in by import the seed phrase in the fake site. You may lose your crypto 2. Emails - You will receive an email from a scammer (You win huge crypto). There's a link that directs to a scam website 3. Rug Pulls (Defi) - The developer or owner of the token/coin steals the money and abandons the project. 4. Fake Token/coin - Scammers will create a fake token/coin which the same as the original name or symbol. They will promote and create a website for ICO or presale of the token. 5. Fake Investment - This is the most common style of scamming especially in social media and messaging app. The scammer will message you about crypto investment and shows how much he/she earn with a website link. 6. Double/Triple your Token/Coin - A website where you will earn double or triple of the coin/token you invest. You will earn at first then suddenly they will ask to invest/deposit more before you withdraw your earnings. 7. Form Hacking - Scammer uses a form that includes putting your seed phrase or keys. 8. Pump and Dump Scheme -There are a group of people who will pump a coin/token (Most of the people will invest in it) then after they have a profit they will dump it 9. Impersonation (Social Media) - Scammer impersonate a famous crypto celebrity or a famous celebrity like Elon Musk. They will create multiple accounts on social media and post scam investments and fake links. 10.
