The store owner confused which brand of toothpaste he will give and told to the kid to go back to their house and ask his parent if Colgate or Closeup. And then my turn, I asked the store owner "Kuya, may whisper kayo dyan yung modess with wings po". Both of us laughed. *I just bought only coffee and sardines in the store not girl pads (Whisper or modess). *When I was a kid, It happened to me and I need to go back to my house to ask my mother again. ahaha Me : "Manang, pabili po ng Datu Puti" Manang (Old lady): "Toyo or Suka?" Me : "Basta po Datu Puti" Manang : "Balik ka ulit sa bahay at kausapin mo magulang" List of Filipino Brand/Genneric Confusion 1. Diaper : "Pabili ng Pampers yung EQ" - Both are Diapers 2. Photocopy : "Tara mag-xerox tayo" - Xerox is brand name of photocopying machine 3. Softdrinks : "Pabili ng coke" - Store owner : "Royal,Coca-Cola or Sprite" 4. LPG tanks : "Manong May Gasul ba kayo dyan yung Shellane" 5. Nail Polish : "Tara magpa cutex tayo" - Cutex is brand name 6. Pizza : "Tol, order ka ng Pizza Hut yung Shakey's"
