Return of Face Shield: Require or Not On the morning radio show, I heard the news about the coronavirus variant (Omicron). One government official stated that they will make a move regarding this new variant by imposing travel restrictions to other countries and also may require the use of a face shield once more. Even some WHO (World Health Organization) officials have stated that the reason we have had good results in the Delta surge in the past is due to the face shield requirements. Radio anchors read comments of the netizens about this news. One of the netizens commented that they don't like to use/wear face shield because he recalls corruption about the face shield and other government officials, and another netizen said that it's ok for her to wear a face shield if it's mandatory because it's also a protection for her family and she needs to follow the health protocol. Netizens have different opinions and reactions about the return of the face shield. In your opinion, It is required to wear a face shield again? The Philippines currently has no cases or detections of the Omricon variant, but the WHO has declared that Omicron is a "to be concerned" case. To my fellow Filipinos, always follow the health protocol and eat healthy foods.

I would be happy if they will warn the vaccinated to be extra careful for omicron was detected in vaccinated in Botswana and stop discriminating the healthy unvaccinated. Instead, they should promote nutrition, clean environment, and gut health. And according to doctors in S. Africa, patients with omicron have very mild symptoms and could be treated at home. (Reuters).

  I will give you 10 points on your comment. Here, in my place the barangay notice to all that if a person is not vaccinated, he/she will need to have a swab test (2x in a month). Note: swab testing prize range is 1000 - 3000 pesos (not sure this is the right price). And also not all people can't take the covid vaccine because of their health (side effects of the vaccine).

I believe the face shield is beneficial, but please remind us all to wear it properly and not just use it as a headband. It's inconvenient, but it's the price we pay for being safer.
