"I am not going to resign." I asked my Team Leader a few days ago to inform our Head Department that I would not be attending any meetings or working that day, and if my request was denied, I would resign (This is a joke request). After that, my Team Leader texted me and told me that my request had been sent (with a devil's emoji), and a few minutes later, my Head Department called me, but I didn't answer the phone (I wasn't feeling well at the time, and I didn't want to hear any calls). In addition, I did not open my Facebook or Messenger account. Then, when I returned to work today (night shift and work from home), one of my juniors asked me if I was serious about resigning, and the news spread throughout our department (Deym, the joke turned to be real). My Head Department announced in our live meeting that I will resign from my job in one week, and then he asked me, "Any comment or the last statement, Mr. K?" Me: That's correct; I'll resign in a week, but first I need a year's supply of pancit canton, canned foods, and coffee. Add Stick-O as well. Head Department: Really? Ok, it's only a joke, no resignation, and Mr. K is a good employee and asset to our company. (then changed the topic with a smirking smile) Team Leader: That's only a joke; he only said it because he hasn't gotten enough sleep and hasn't felt well in the last few days. What a prank, both of these two suddenly changed when I mentioned foods (pancit canton and coffee). Mga Kuripot hehehe

Lol What about the results? I'd be a bit more careful. Sounded like they could be waiting for a chance of receiving your resignation :D
