smartBCH Update: Chain Halted Yesterday in running-smartbchd-node Telegram Group, Wang Kui asked about anonymous validators which looked suspicious. (Image 1 and 2) Since no reply or any comment and those validators became offline intentionally, SmartBCH halted at height 5192980 (Image 3). Maybe it's an attack or something else. Question: How can offline validators affect anything? Answer by im_uname: If a large number of them fail at the same time the chain stalls and cannot recover automatically.
