It's a long day yesterday due to emergency work in the company, a birthday party for one of my workmates, and 3-4 hours assisting my juniors last night. I think it's better to have a face to face work than online/virtual work because it's hard to assist/help my juniors with our projects. urgh... Let's go back to my topic about unknown/spam messages. I always receive 2-3 spam messages on my phone claiming that I had won money sponsored by Willie Revillame (Thanks Kuya Will and Salamat Shopee). If I add them all up, I'll have more than a billion pesos. I'm now a wealthy man, but the problem is it's spam/scam messages. BSP announced yesterday that they will be backing up SIM card registrations due to phishing scams, spam, and fraudsters. We are all aware that we are living in the digitalization era, with more and more scams, phishing, and cyber-attacks happening, and people being able to purchase multiple sim cards to use for fraud. Furthermore, it is difficult to detect or trace those behind the phishing messages, which is why they passed a bill (Senate Bill No. 176 - currently pending) requiring users to present a valid ID and photo, as well as sign a control-numbered registration. Okay, since today is my day off, I'm going to chill and relax my mind.
