It's nice to see some users here reading comics like manga, manhwa, and manhua because most people would rather watch anime than read the original comics/graphic novels. They prefer it because of the animation and sequence arts rather than just a simple drawing and text in the manga. As for me, I prefer both. Why? The anime has animation graphics and gives life to the artwork, whereas the manga has complete details in the story. Because I don't have time to watch anime or cartoons in my spare time, I've been reading more comics/graphic novels. It gives me vibes when I read it, which is a plus because most of the awesome comics/graphic novels are not yet adopted in anime/cartoon right now. Here are the Manga, Manhwa, and Manhua that I've always enjoyed reading. (It only includes the fantasy, martial arts, and cultivation genres; no romance/drama genres.) 1. Solo Leveling: Arise, the shadow army 2. Apotheosis: The main character is overly opportunistic. He can kill with a single punch and destroy entire planets. 3. The God of High School: The main character is the Monkey King, but he is cool and not annoying 4. Tales of Demons and Gods: Return to the Past Story with Cultivation 5. Nan Hao and Shang Feng: Short comedy manhua about two guys and their friends 6. Magic Demon Emperor: One of the best MC (antagonist and protagonist personality). 7. Versatile Mage: I recommend this if you want to read about mage and magic. 8. The Northern Blade: Has a best martial arts and action fight scene 9. Eleceed: fantasy and comedy comic. I like this because the master of MC became a cat 10. Second Ranker: Revenge is real

In my opion and experiences, anime, comic and light novel could be different content inside in Japanese series. However, it should be viewing original to feel the story as well. In Japan anime manufacturing, the company wants to control a season to finish a part of paragraph. Or, the director inserts his thinking of materials. The output of quality in the result can be bad more than good due to the director and company ability. Anyhow, anime in my life and country are always instant to taste the articles in the beginning. If I watch and get interesting in, I turn to read the original source after that. It is the good way to get in. Ha!
I’m the same! Sometimes I start with manga but if some anime comes up that people say are good, I watch it then I won’t be able to wait for season 2 so I’ll move on to reading the manga while waiting for the next season.
