But in antartica the place was too.much cold and it is better to stay in balance place having hot and cold
that's the reason (extremely low temperatures of the lower atmosphere. The cold air and the little precipitation that falls) why its lowest in rainfall. Also, I think Antarctica has no permanent residents (corerct me if im wrong)
