During our meeting, my senior told us about one of his friends who invested in the Squid Game Token, which turned out to be a scam (rug pull token). He advised his friend not to invest in the squid project without conducting research, but his friend ignored him. His friend was depressed/stressed after the scam/rug pull happened on the project, and lose a lot of money. (His friend invested 3 digits.) Here is an additional story about the squid game project that my senior told us. 1. He described it as a red flag because it had nothing to do with Netflix's Squid Game (Korean drama) 2. The fact that the majority of users are unable to sell their tokens is a warning sign. 3. He reads the poorly written whitepaper 4. The team behind the Squid Game Project has no prior experience/background (the website has disappeared) 5. Some Twitter users stated and tweeted evidence that the project is a red flag, but people continue to buy it. Lesson Research, Research, and More Research If you suspect it's a red flag ask around (other people/friend) or post on social media/forums. You must exercise caution when investing in cryptocurrency and understand when to buy and sell tokens.
