The 5 Petot Moment I went to the store to buy canned goods and detergent powder. That time, we were having a little chit-chat about politics with the store owner when a little kid (7 years old) poked my body and said "Kuya, penge (begging)". I asked him what he wanted (food or money), and he replied, "5 Petot po Kuya" (stammer). Because I knew this kid (son of the barangay tanod), I gave him 5 pesos and he spent it on candies and a lollipop at the store. After that, the kid thanked me and ran away in the right direction. The store owner and I both noticed a little girl waiting for him, and the little girl gave her the candies and lollipop and hugged him. Conversation between me and the owner of the store Store Owner: Oh sweet, like candy and sweetcorn Me: Wow, what a smart kid, and he's also good with girls. Store Owner: Yeah, Love is the air except for one (looking at me). A person who is single this time Me: I'm fine with being single, and I'm happy being a single Store Owner: K, you're so bitter, go find a partner or apply for a loved one (with smirking face).
