Back to the Past: Arcade Games Most of you played arcade games in the mall, clubs, or amusement arcades using a token. My friends and I used to play it on the arcade house when we were kids, where you only needed one peso coin to play. One peso coin is 3 minutes in the time game. We brought a lot of food and snacks and played until the afternoon. The arcade house became our new home. (We only go to the arcade on weekends, and our funds come from our allowance or savings.). Playing arcade bring back many memories, including tournaments, two players fighting over simple teasing, and parents carrying a large stick to pick you up (so scared). I also recall using a thick flexible string (tansi) to insert (push and pull the string) into the coin slot of the arcade. Presto, you have more time and can play the game again. The problem is that the owner caught us and called our parents, and the punishment is that we won't be able to go to the arcade for a week, which is equivalent to house arrest. My friends and I returned to the arcade house after a week, and the owner of the arcade house was checking and guarding us while we played. (The intimidating eyes of the owner are so scary). *Some of the kids called us a hustler in the arcade house. Here is the list of arcade games I played before. 1. Tekken 2. Metal Slug - I always die because of the zombies and helicopter 3. Street Fighter EX2 Plus - I became 2nd placer on this tournament 4. Marvel vs. Capcom - I always use Wolverine/Spiderman and War Machine combo 5. Bloddy Roar - Bakuryu The Mole, STun the Insect 6. Dragon Ball Z (Forget what version of the game) - We used a cheat here to show or become the hidden characters 7. Captain Commando 8. Crash Bandicot Racing - It's hard to finish this game 9. Smackdown or Raw - My favorite character here is "The Undertaker" using the Last Ride and CHokeslam 10. King of Fighters 97, 98, 99, 2000 - If there's a Street Fighter, there's a King of Fighters with three characters you use 11. Vigilante 8 the Second Offense - Car battle with Guns/Arms and Shield 12. Top Gear - One of the best racing arcade game 13. Samurai Shodown - Fighting game series from the era of Japan. I recall a TV special based on an anime adaptation being aired. 14. Mortal Kombat - Raiden for the win. 15. Resident Evil - Zombies are coming for you 16. Other Games - Pacman, Space Invaders, Metal Gear, Castle Vania, Medal of Honor
