There is no end

There is no end.

You don't see the end.

And it's very cold.

People wear double coats.

Wrapped in scarves and hats.

Only the eyes are visible.

Nobody talks to anyone.

Everyone holds their phones.

And they stand impatiently.

They wait anxiously.

It would be their turn quickly.

And they are afraid to get their turn.

So many hours of waiting.

I don't see anyone eating.

They don't even drink water.

Just smoke a cigarette.

When you feel bad,

when you wait for them to tell you if you will survive,

you only think of one thing.

Yes.

Of a million wishes yesterday,

you only have one at the moment.

To heal, to stay alive.

How strange it is.

We wait,

let's see what awaits us.
