Tomorrow's Never Promised.

It seemed like every day there was news about an earthquake happening in a certain part of the country. After that big earthquake in Luzon, some other provinces also felt earthquakes with different magnitudes and intensities. Is this the end of the world? The region's Office of Civil Defense has announced and warned everyone in Leyte and in Samar to be alert as it is believed that the region will be experiencing a bigger one. It's called the bigger one because it's bigger than the earthquake in Luzon. They even warned the public that it could cause a tsunami that will be as high as a three-storey building.

Most of my friends thought of moving to another place like somewhere in Manila or out of the country. We couldn't just imagine how it would be when all those things predicted will happen. This caused chaos and worry to the citizens. But the authorities ensured that it is only just for everyone's safety and information. With that, we can always be alert and ready for what's to come.

The world is changing day by day. With all the wars, earthquakes, and issues in the economy, one would be stressed to the bones. Each day is a day to try our luck. We place our bets every day. We strive even though we don't know what's in store for tomorrow. The worst? We step on other people's rights just to achieve our dreams not knowing that tomorrow is never promised. What if we die tomorrow? Will out hard work and evil ways matter. I bet it would be futile.

Sometimes, I think every disaster is a warning. A wake-up call for everyone to turn from their wicked ways and be humble. We will never know what will happen tomorrow. It's vital to make peace with our past and maintain cordial relationships with family and friends. Bury those hard feelings, forgive and smile. Let's make the most of our days here on Earth. Let's strive to leave a wonderful mark and imbibe a positive attitude that will make people remember us positively.

I hope we get to be kinder each day and make life worth living. There are a lot of rude people in government offices, arrogant people in workplaces, and entitled ones because they feel important because of their degrees. None of them matter. Our awards, titles and our bank account wouldn't save us. It would all be trash. At the end of the day, people will remember us by how we lived.

Let's live to be remembered significantly.
