Warning: So many photos ahead!
Eventhough my roommate and I have a lot of differences-I find her annoying and she finds me boring and serious, we still get along sometimes. When the weather is nice and the moon is full, we would talk about places that we want to visit. Just the places nearby and those wo have no large amount of entrance fee for we are both trying to be frugal.
The scarcity of classes and the boring atmosphere in the four corners of our room hinted us to go out and have some fun. Oftentimes, when we don't have classes, we would just lay in bed, scrolling in some social media applications. That was when she saw her friends posting about their whereabouts. My roommate then suggested that we should go out some time too so we can have beautiful moments captured.
At first, we thought of visiting a nearby farm to take pictures of animals. We wanted to see a wide green scenery soe we can relax our eyes from being too much exposed of the lights from the computer and mobile. We thought of visiting a newly- opened milktea shop too but time didn't permit.
But our feet were not sad because they were able to step on a new place. It was a month ago when we visited a mountain resort just ten-minute motorcycle ride away from the town. My roommate has a motorcycle and we took advantage of the opportunity to visit a new place for us. It was unexpected as it was saturday and we were supposed to be heading home already.
The place was one of the places in our list but we never thought of visiting the place immediately. It is true, unplanned trips are more fun than the planned ones because sometimes when we plan, we tend to forget to color it. It would remain as a plan, a drawing. Whereas, unplanned trips are abrupt. It is more fun and exciting.
The place is called Yumeya Mountain Resort. To get in to the area, you need to take a 10-minute motorcycle or trike ride from the town and another five-minute ride from the highway to this place. I walked from the highway until here because my roommate can't take the bumpy road. But if your companion is a rider and you are both a risk-taker, you can ride the motorcycle from the highway to the mountain. Oh, it is not much o a mountain, more like a hill.
Opps! Sorry for the bad angle. My roommate keeps on complaining about my clicks and claims that I won't pass as a photographer. lol
The resort is Japanese-themed as it is owned by a japanese. lol. Anyway, the owner of this mountain resort is the same owner of the boarding house where I used to stay for four years. They were both named Yumeya.
Our old landlady might be crazy rich by now. I hope she will be kinder.
Another one. Our outfits didn't match with the place. We weren't able to swim.
There are small spaces for family or friends. You can experience dining, the Japanese way, just sitting on the floor without chairs.
Our view. You can dine in those small spaces too with your family and friends. No worries if you have arthritis or you find it difficult to sit on the floor because there are available chairs here on this side of the resort.
And the pool is over there. Please zoom in.
The way to the tree house. Can we call it tree house? I don't know but let us just say it is a tree house.
You can have an unending view of anything green and blue. Refreshing! You can sip your favorite fruit shake here while waiting for the main course.
Or you can go goofy or emo here! Depends on you. Just be careful for the bench might be too hot from too much exposure of the sun.
I can now bike my way to the clouds!
Just a reminder to breath fresh air and direct your eyes to green and blue sometimes.
For attendance purposes and keepsake.
For friends who live nearby, you can visit the place everyday between 10 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. You would have to pay 50 pesos for sight-seeing purposes only. There is a different charge if you would want to use the pool. Meanwhile, entrance fee will be free if you dine in and buy some shake and takoyaki.
This is by far my one and only laag for this year. Being a homebody, I must say that it is good to get out of your house sometimes.
Thank you for reading friends. Until then.
*All of the photos are mine. My roommate agreed that I would include photos from our last laag here.
Ang daming mga areas for pictorial. 😊
