How To Tell The Difference Between Sour And Sweet Oranges When buying fruit, of course we always see the color of the skin as a sign that the fruit is still or ripe, right? I also when buying fruit, especially oranges, I always see the color of the skin as a sign that the fruit is sweet.

But when we want to buy oranges, don't just focus on the color of the skin. For example, the oranges that I have, I bought them yesterday at the fruit shop as much as 1 kg and the result is that some oranges have a very sour taste and some are sweet, although not as much as those with a sour taste.

*" Then, how do you pick a sweet orange? "* This I often do when I buy oranges at a fruit shop that is selling oranges in large quantities. The trick is to scrape the skin or by pressing the skin with a fingernail. You can take one of the oranges and try pressing the peel with your fingernail until it makes a little impression. If the peel has a very fragrant aroma, you can be sure that the orange you take has a fairly sour taste.

But when you press the orange peel and it doesn't give off an aroma, that's a sign that the orange you take has a sweet taste. Can this be used as a benchmark when you buy oranges? Between can and not. Because of only a few cases I sometimes find oranges that have a sour taste even though the orange peel doesn't give off an aroma. But this method can be applied when you have bought the oranges and you want to separate the sour and sweet oranges. For oranges that have a sour taste, I usually don't eat them because I don't really like sour tastes. I sometimes collect these sour oranges and make orange juice. To avoid the sour taste, I added sugar to the orange juice. Even though sugar has been added, sometimes the sour taste is still felt, but not too sour. So, that's how to tell which oranges are sour and which are sweet. You can use that method if you buy oranges that are on sale and not the seller who picks them up. Then you can apply this method when you want a sweet orange. But you can use this method when you buy the oranges and you can separate the sour and sweet oranges. How about you guys?
