Fasting is an act of worship which no one can know except Allah, not even the angels The addition of fasting is for honor and greatness towards Allah Almighty, just as the addition of Bait-ul-Allah is merely a cause of honor and dignity, otherwise all the houses belong to Allah. The fasting person tries to create the attributes of angels in himself so he is beloved by Allah. There is no limit to the reward of patience.
