Venturing out for the first time since my operation I’m out at the shops for the first time since my operation and feeling a little vulnerable. I have to wear a soft neck collar for at least four weeks which restricts my movement and people are so so aggressive. It’s like I am all of a sudden a target for people, it’s shocking how people seems to target those with restricted mobility and try and push them around. A knock to my neck would cause so much damage for me, so I am extra careful and glad I am as it kept me safe. I know see why a lot of people with disabilities do not leave the home very often, it’s truly scary to be out with such aggressive people and I’m glad we only had a couple of things to pick up meaning we are now heading home to safety. If you see people with mobility issues when you are out and about please be kind, it’s scary being out in public when you have health issues.

Be careful people can be crazy.
I will Chuck, was quite an eye opener being out in public today. Like you say people are crazy out there, always in a rush and very aggressive
Do not like going to the store usually I go at 6 AM in the morning when they first open up there is hardly anybody in Walmart I can walk in and walk out within 15 minutes
I like to go on an evening normally, after 7pm it’s normally nice and quiet, the less people the better in my opinion

Thank you, so far the recovery is going well. Full recovery is around a year but I should be able to get back to a morn normal life after the first two months
