Pollen covered bee 🐝 I take a walk in the park by the offices where I work each day during my lunch break so that I can reconnect with nature. I soak in the vibes from the flowers and trees, and also watch the wildlife. One of the most amazing things to watch is the bees hard at work pollinating the park and bring kids everywhere where they visit, it’s so magical to watch. Devine chocolate mousse 🧡🖤 During the summer we were lucky enough to go on a cruise around the United Kingdom and during our cruise on the MSC Virtuosa we were treated to some fabulous food. This extremely tasty chocolate mousse was the desert one evening boy was it good. Asian fusion We have just been out to celebrate my wife fortieth birthday and boy did we have an amazing Asian feast. We had katsu chicken, chicken and tofu ramen, pork gyoza, ebi katsu prawns and chicken yakitori. I managed to get photos of everything apart from the chicken yakitori which was so yummy it was gone before I could get a photo.

Fully loaded milkshake Sophie and I on the cheerleading training lunch break and are treating ourselves to a wrap and a milkshake, and boy are the milkshakes fully loaded. We both opted for a salted caramel popcorn 🍿 milkshake, which is a vanilla milkshake with salted caramel mixed in, topped by lots of fresh whipped cream, caramel coated popcorn and the finished off with more salt caramel 😋 boy is it good 😊

Halloween bath bombs 💣 While we were wasting time between Sophie’s training sessions we dropped in Lush which is a bath and body shop and it sells the best bath bombs. They had there Halloween range in with bath bombs in the shapes of ghosts, pumpkins and glittery bats 🦇 and the all smelt so so good 🧡🖤

Getting my cook on 🧡🖤 I love cooking, it’s a great way to relax and home made food is so much better for us that processed supermarket meals. Last night I cooked my girls favourite meal, tagliatelle which is so simple and so so yummy. Teaching you children to cook As parents we have a duty to pass skills into our children, with one of the most important skill is the ability to cook. Mischievous Pup, Dotty being a little bit of a minx and digging in the plant pots, like all dogs she likes to get into a mess and do the things she shouldn’t from time to time. To her it’s fun but it give a lot of tidying up for the fur parents 🤣🤣

The Spiders Are Back 🕸 After having a well earned vacation the spiders have returned home and rebuilt their web masterpiece. Taxi drivers again 🤣🤣 Once again I’m sat in the car park at the girls cheerleading gym waiting for the eldest to finish training and I decided a wing mirror photo was a fun time waste. Llama 🦙 impression 🤣 Dotty is doing her llama 🦙 impression again, she’s all fluffy and cute like a llama but a lot smaller 🤣 fluffy dogs are awesome especially if they don’t shed, they are great for cuddles and snuggles 🥰
Tumble time 🤸♀️ Sophie and I have just made it to the gym for her hour tumble lesson, she’s in top form so hopefully it will be a good session. She’s working on her level four tumbles at the moment so I will try and get some photos of her in action to post later 🖤🧡
Todays tumble class was a big success, Sophie had lots of fun and her skills are getting g a lot better 🧡🖤 Her coach is fantastic, she was doing lots of tough tumbles today and she just pushes herself so hard. I’m a very proud cheer dad 🧡🖤
Pathway in the sky Just been out for a walk with the dog and looked up to see this patch of blue sky making a pathway through the cloud. It was a unique sky, not something you usually see and very pretty 😍
Coffee and a Toastie 😋 We are out at the local mall this morning and we have just stopped for an early lunch. We all had a toastie, two ham and cheer (classic), on cheese and mushroom, and finally my Mac n cheese, yep you read that right a Mac n cheese toastie and it was awesome. The coffee was nice too, all in all a very tasty early lunch

Hunger games part two We have progressed onto hunger games catching fire which is the second of the four part film series of the hunger games series. Is miss Sophie’s first time watching the hunger games and she’s totally hooked , they are amazing films and books 🖤🧡
Dog walk time 🐶 Sophie and I have just been for the evening dog walk, it was a nice walk as the suns returned after the rain ☔️ A trip out into the natural world and fresh air is always a nice treat for us and the dog 🖤🧡

No further action tonight it’s been passed back to the neurosurgeon team to have another discussion about my situation, so more waiting. Good morning noise family, Sorry not been about much this week, been putting my health first and working on chasing up consultants and surgeons. Preparing for Halloween Sophie is currently filling old milk bottles that she has decorated for Halloween with sand. This in our heads was a far easier task than it is proving to be but once they are filled and have a few glow sticks they will look awesome. I will share a post of the finished items when we add the glow sticks tomorrow so you can all see how our Halloween craft project works out.
I think I’m on the naughty list This week has been a tough week health wise, I was in the emergency department for seven hours on Monday day due to the neurological issues I suffer from. Happy Halloween Sophie channelling her inner vampire as she prepares to go out to trick or treat. One day I will get her out ghost hunting with me but for now she’s sticking to the more fun and less scary side of Halloween. Creepy creations Sophie and Lily up-cycled a few old milk bottles with ghostly designs and added glow sticks to create some very fun and cool Halloween decorations. We popped them at the front door to draw the trick or treaters in and handed out candy to anyone who dared to come close.
